Applied Science
Department of applied sciences provides knowledge in the areas of physics, chemistry, mathematics and communication skills. The faculty of applied sciences department is highly qualified, experienced, motivated and dedicated. The faculty of department is actively working to provide quality education and supporting co-curricular activities and extracurricular activities. Department has well equipped Physics Lab, Chemistry Lab and Communication Skill Lab to cater the needs of the students of 1st & 2nd semesters of all the disciplines being offered at TPC. Students are given practical training in laboratories.

- Awards of Faculty (Applied Sciences) Best Polytechnic Teacher Award for Punjab state was awarded to Dr Ritu Jindal by ISTE at Trivandrum in Nov 2014.
- Global Teacher Role Model Award 2015 for Punjab state was awarded to Dr Ritu Jindal by MVLA trust at global teacher international conference 2015 held at Mumbai.
- Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Best Teacher Award was awarded to Ms.Sunita Mittal in Dec- 2016
