Introduction to Committee of “Guidance and Counseling of Girl Students”

TPC has constituted a committee for Guidance and Counseling of Girl Students in the college. The committee also looks after the welfare of lady faculty members of TPC and carries out the duties of “Internal Complaint Committee (ICC)” – (as per Section 4 of ‘Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace’(Prevention, Prohibition and Redressal) Act,2013).
The members of the committee are as under:

2. Mrs. Shashi Bala - Member
3. Dr.(Mrs.) Seema Kansal - Member
4. Mrs. Aman Singla - Member

Objectives

1. To ensure healthy and secure atmosphere in the college.
2. To address the problems and issues faced by the girl students.
3. To provide guidance and counseling to the girl students.

Guest Lectures are arranged by the committee from time to time. A guest lecture on “Empowering Girls with Life Skills” by a renowned psychologist Mrs. ShalluBedi organized by the committee for girl students of TPC.
She not only discussed various problems and issues faced by girls during adolescent age but also told regarding various life skills that help the girls in developing a healthy self image and confidence enabling them to deal effectively with the challenges of everyday life.
